Our founder, Dr. Michael Schmidt opened the doors in the summer of 1995 working on specific brainwave states to change the subconscious and our clients' automatic behaviors. Our center's philosophy as coaches, consultants, hypnotherapist, and as pastoral counselors specialize in finding common sense real-world solutions for real-world problems. This basic approach is a belief that our clients well-being comes first which is often lost in this machine we call modern medicine. Our center offers a holistic drug-free approach to better regulation and functioning through technology and through tapping into the subconscious mind. We utilize hypnosis for a number of issues delivering a solution-focused alternative for a wide range of physical/emontional problems ranging from Natural Child-Birth, Stress Management, Confidence, Self-Esteem, Sleeping Problems/Insomnia, Weight Control, Pain Management, Public speaking confidence, Test and Exams, nerves, and more.

It is our belief that our clients need to be informed, empowered and in charge when making decisions especially for their loved ones. The Internet is awash with web sites which offer hypnosis products and services that have not been created by qualified professionals, nor are they based on current research-based practices. Some of these programs are of limited or no use, while others may do more harm than good. At The Hypnosis Wellness Center we work within strict ethical and moral guidelines to ensure that every program meets the highest professional standards, based on current research and knowledge.

Because of the backgrounds that each of our hypnotherapists bring to our organization, we provide hypnotherapy for most issues for which hypnotic treatments are appropriate. Some examples include, hypnotherapy for weight loss, stop smoking, relaxation, stress management and many medical issues that have a psychogenic or stress component (i.e., sexual issues, premature ejaculation, obsessive compulsive disorders, sleep problems such as insomnia, pain management, etc.).

Client confidentiality is required, and the The Hypnosis Wellness Center keeps to the highest standards in this regard. Client records are only handled by our staff, which are all required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Your personal information may not be released to any outside agency or individual, unless you have given written permission.

However, there are certain limits to confidentiality, and as a result The Hypnosis Wellness Center may be required to release information to appropriate governmental authorities under certain circumstances, including a legal require for lease of information because of a subpoena or legal investigation, or when we receive information that suggests possible harm to others.

NATIONAL GUILD OF HYPNOTISTS (NGH) The National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. is a not-for-profit, educational corporation in the State of New Hampshire. Founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1951 the Guild is a professional organization comprised of dedicated individuals committed to advancing the field of hypnotism.

International Medical & Dental Hypnotherapy Association (IMDHA) MDHA is unique among Hypnosis organizations. Our members are required to take a minimum of 120-hours of Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy Education and earn 30 continuing hours of education each year to maintain membership.
